within the Department of Neurosciences at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.

Our research focuses on understanding how cholinergic interneurons (CINs) influence motivation, learning, and addiction-related behaviors. We aim to advance the field of addiction neuroscience by developing more accurate preclinical models and paving the way for more effective and targeted treatment strategies.
